Widows, Widowers, and Seniors Ministry
Our church's Widows and Widowers ministry was created in 2011 by Margaret Shigenaka. They meet every other odd month (Ie. January, March, May, etc.) on the second Thursday of the month. They break bread together at different buffets around Orange County, and have wonderful times of fellowship together. The cost is usually $15, but if you join during your birthday month, the cost is free! They also have an annual Christmas party and sock exchange at church towards the end of the year.
For this demographic, the Lord put Romans 15:13 on Margaret's heart-
"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."
