Our Story

How it all started...

Anaheim Japanese Free Methodist Church was officially organized in 1923. It began with a small home group led by Chiyosa Miyabe in 1921 to meet the needs of Japanese-speaking immigrant families in the neighborhood. Five ladies attended the first meeting. In 1964, the Mayflower building was complete, and 200 people were present for the first service in the new sanctuary.

Expanding the vision...

In October 2023, Anaheim Free Methodist Church became independent, and was renamed Anaheim Revive Church.

We are a multi-generational church, and are proud to have grandparents and grandchildren worshipping beside each other every week.
